How do you tackle call anxiety

I’ve recently started as a telemarketer, and I find myself getting really anxious before making calls — i’ve been going over the scripts to try and sound more confident, but sometimes it feels overwhelming. I’m curious about what tips or techniques you all use to ease that anxiety and get into the right mindset before dialing. Any insights would be super helpful.

I used to get really anxious too, but I found that doing a few deep breaths before dialing helps a ton — it’s like hitting the reset button. And hey, think of each call like you’re just having a chat with a friend; that mindset made it a lot less intimidating for me. You got this.

I totally get that feeling! What’s helped me is setting small goals for each call, like asking one question or closing a sale, so it feels less intimidating. And don’t forget, it’s okay to stumble a bit; everyone has those moments! Just keep practicing, and you’ll find your rhythm. @TeleMarketerPro always says, ‘It’s all about the connection.’.
