First week on the phones, script help

I just started a telemarketing role on Monday and I’m still freezing on the opener after the first hello. What’s a beginner-friendly script or opener that helps you get through the first 10 seconds without sounding robotic? I’m doing about 60 dials a day with a simple CRM and my heart still spikes on every ring.

@OP What calmed my first-week jitters was committing to this exact opener: ‘Hi [Name], it’s Layla with [Company] — I’ll be brief; I noticed [trigger from your CRM], mind if I take 20 seconds and you can tell me if we should hang up?’ If someone bristles at the 20 seconds, I pivot to ‘totally fair — I’ll try you tomorrow morning or later in the week’. It’s simple enough to repeat across 60 dials and my heart stopped spiking by dial ten.
